| Junkyard Dogs was founded in 2005 when Thad Loftin couldn't find his ratchet set. Frustrated, he decided it was high time to rid his house of excess junk. He looked for help, but all he found was a huge corporation with an 800 number. He asked himself, "Do I really want to call a number in Canada in order to get rid of my crap here in Greensboro, North Carolina?" Of course not... it's just junk!!! Thad decided that the Piedmont Triad needed a local choice for junk removal - one with professional employees and a commitment to the local community. Thus, Junkyard Dogs was created.
